How Indian companies present results
Listed companies in India file their investor presentations with the stock exchanges under SEBI's disclosure rules, usually on the day results are announced. Lenders open with the balance sheet: advances, deposits, net interest margin, credit cost and gross and net NPA. Consumer and industrial companies lead with revenue, EBITDA margin and operating metrics such as stores or capacity. Figures are usually in ₹ crore (10 million rupees), and the fiscal year runs from April to March, so Q2 FY27 is July to September 2026.
Indian results decks are built for analysts who read them line by line. Banks and lenders lead with loan growth, deposits, margins and asset quality; consumer companies with stores, same-store growth and margins. They show how to put a lot of regulated detail into a deck that still reads in order.

Frequently asked questions
Where do these decks come from?
- They are the investor presentations the companies filed with BSE and NSE. The exchange cover letter that comes with each filing has been removed; the slides themselves are unchanged.
What does ₹ crore mean?
- One crore is 10 million, so ₹1,000 crore is ₹10 billion. Most Indian companies report in crore; some, such as ICICI Bank, use ₹ billion.
What do Q2 FY27 and H1 FY27 refer to?
- India's fiscal year runs from April to March. FY27 is April 2026 to March 2027, so Q2 is July to September 2026 and H1 is April to September 2026.
Can I use these as a template?
- Download the PPTX and reuse the layouts, chart types and section order. Replace the figures and branding with your own: the logos, trademarks and numbers belong to the companies that published them.
