Operating profit rose 98 億円, from 77 to 175 億円. Higher sales added +352 (FX +128, underlying +224; automotive +173, industrial +100, C&S +85, communications +28, consumer -33); materials and inventory effects cut -262 (materials -290, inventory +28) due to higher volumes, raw material prices and a temporary SiC yield issue; lower fixed costs added +8, helped by lower depreciation after last year's impairment and lower R&D as the 8-inch SiC line entered mass production.
Waterfall chart from FY2025 1H to FY2026 1H with stacked FX and underlying portions, numbered red callout boxes explaining each driver, summary tables under each bar and a large red arrow showing the 98 億円 increase.
SiC business sales (excluding substrates) grew 55% YoY in 1H, driven by steady automotive demand from European and Japanese customers and growing AI server adoption. Server-related sales grew 66% YoY, led by Si power devices, with capacity increases under way to meet further demand.
Two equal panels with charcoal header bars; each has a two-bar chart (FY25 1H vs FY26 1H), a red circular YoY badge, bullet commentary and a photo (EV drivetrain, server room).
Market outlook table: automotive +10.1% for the year (1H +15.2%, 2H +5.4%) with SiC growth in Europe and Japan leading xEV; industrial +29.1% (1H +32.6%, 2H +25.6%) as customer inventory adjustment ends and AI-server-related FA capex grows; servers +94.1% (1H +66.3%, 2H +121.4%) with orders exceeding capacity and a growing backlog; consumer and others +6.6% (1H +2.5%, 2H +11.4%) as China white goods fall back and amusement demand rises.
Four-row table with market names and full-year growth in the left column, outlook bullets in the middle and weather icons with 1H and 2H growth rates on the right; weather-icon legend at the bottom.
Full-year sales planned at 5,500 億円 vs 4,811 億円 actual in FY2025 (+14.3%). Market: automotive 2,608 (47.4%, +10.1%), consumer 1,075 (+1.9%), C&S 806 (+36.0%), industrial 792 (+29.1%), communications 220 (+20.1%). Operating profit is planned to rise 391 億円, from 109 to 500 億円. Sales growth adds +688 (FX +110, underlying +578; C&S +213, automotive +239, industrial +178, communications +37, consumer +21) including gold-price pass-through and price increases; materials and inventory reduce profit by -333 (materials -250, inventory -83 as product inventory is cut); fixed costs fall by +36, mainly lower depreciation and R&D.
Waterfall chart from FY2025 actual to FY2026 revised plan with FX and underlying splits, three numbered callout boxes, driver tables beneath and a red arrow for the 391 億円 increase.
The operating profit forecast is raised by 200 億円, from an initial 300 to 500 億円. Higher sales add +400 (FX +62, underlying +338) as automotive, industrial and C&S demand exceed expectations and price increases extend to unprofitable products; materials and inventory reduce -233 (materials -140, inventory -93 as inventory falls faster than planned); fixed costs add +33 as the 8-inch SiC line ramp is brought forward and R&D falls.

Section break introducing the structural reform program.
White slide with red vertical accent bar and single section title.
Structural reform moves into the results phase. Four pillars: SiC profitability (5th-generation devices, yield, early 6-to-8-inch shift, xEV and AI server growth), manufacturing and procurement cost cuts (gold-to-copper wire, power and material costs, site reorganization including selling one overseas site), pricing and portfolio optimization (gold price pass-through, exiting unprofitable products, new pricing system, lower overhead) and non-SiC sales growth. Operating profit improvement vs FY2025 targets: >400 億円 in FY2026, >700 in FY2027 and well over 1,000 in FY2028.
Four-row table with pillar names, bullet details and three columns of gradient bars by year; bottom row shows the target figures in grey, light red and deep red cells.
Section break introducing the silicon carbide power device business.

SiC sales from FY21 to FY26, with the main automotive inverter share rising fast. SiC business growth was +14% in FY25 and is planned at over +30% in FY26; SiC devices and modules (excluding substrates) grew +41% and are planned at over +55%. Drivers: HEV adoption as planned, a US major OEM selecting ROHM SiC modules for 2028 models, AI server power sales above plan, 5th-gen 8-inch SiC MOSFETs in mass production at Chikugo from October, and Miyazaki No. 2 plant 8-inch production brought forward one year to FY2027 2Q.

Waterfall-style roadmap from the FY2025 loss to above break-even through substrate improvement, yield gains, device cost reduction (including volume) and portfolio improvement from new-generation devices and modules. ROHM aims to bring break-even forward one year from FY2028 to FY2027, helped by AI server demand and price increases from FY2026, the Miyazaki No. 2 fab starting in FY2027 and Chikugo's 6-inch line moving to 8-inch by FY2028.

White slide with red vertical accent bar and single section title.
ROHM is scaling adoption and new products for AI servers. Server sales of 170 億円 in FY25 are targeted at 300+ in FY26, 450+ in FY27, 600+ in FY28 and 1,000+ 億円 in FY30, raised from the plan announced in May 2026. Product lineup spans 800V DC power architecture: SiC MOSFETs, GaN HEMTs and Si MOSFETs for power, MPC + DrMOS, hot-swap controllers and SSD PMICs for analog, plus shunt resistors and silicon capacitors.
Left: stacked target bars by year (power devices, analog, others) with a previous-plan comparison; right: power architecture diagram (AC-DC, DC-DC, CPU/GPU, HDD/SSD) above a product grid with chip images and feature labels.
DrMOS sales are projected to grow from near zero in FY26 to more than 300 億円 by FY30 as rising GPU power consumption increases the number of DrMOS per board across current, next and next-next generation servers. Second-generation development is complete with adoption under review at major global customers, and work has started on a next-generation process.

ROHM's fiscal year runs from April to March, so FY2026 is April 2026 to March 2027. The first half (1H) in this deck is April to September 2026, and 2Q is July to September 2026.
億円 is the company's reporting unit and equals ¥100 million. For example, 1H sales of 2,795 億円 are about ¥279.5 billion, and the 500 億円 operating profit forecast is ¥50 billion.
1H sales were 2,795 億円 (+14.4% YoY), operating profit 175 億円 (+128.5%) and net profit 156 億円 (+51.0%). The full-year forecast was raised to 5,500 億円 sales and 500 億円 operating profit, up 200 億円 from the initial operating profit plan of 300 億円. The annual dividend is planned at 50 yen.
SiC device sales (excluding substrates) grew 55% YoY in 1H. 5th-generation 8-inch SiC MOSFETs began mass production at the Chikugo plant, the Miyazaki No. 2 plant's 8-inch production was brought forward to FY2027 2Q, and ROHM aims to reach SiC break-even one year early, in FY2027.
The results highlights table (page 3), the donut-chart sales mix (pages 4 and 8), the operating profit waterfall bridges (pages 5, 9, 10, 30 and 34), the weather-icon outlook table (page 7) and the structural reform target table (page 15) adapt easily to other companies' half-year or annual results decks.
